Look for fully fenced facility, with a computer controlled access gate that enables only authorized users on site. Make sure lighting is adequate and you get free 24/7 access if you need to get to your unit round the clock. Video surveillance should also be prevalent around the property.
Question: Are there any fees besides rent?
Ask about security deposit or administrative fees when you are comparison shopping. Hidden charges can drive up the cost of renting. Our $1 move-in is really that - no extra charges added.
